1. Agreement
By creating a SocietyOS account, purchasing a membership, or using any SocietyOS service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. SocietyOS is operated by The Nyx & Raven Ranch, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801). If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Memberships & Billing
- Carbon Free is provided at no cost. Free accounts require registration and are subject to these Terms.
- Carbon Pro, Onyx, and Gold are annual memberships. The first-year price (which may include hardware) is charged at checkout; the membership renews automatically each year at the published renewal rate until cancelled.
- You may cancel renewal at any time by contacting hello@societyos.world. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current term remains active until its end date.
- Prices are shown in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout.
3. Pre-Launch Offer ("Socialite Special")
Promotional pricing ($100 off initial purchase; Socialite Special $399 including one year of Carbon Pro and one SocietyOS STB) is available only through December 18, 2026, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
4. Hardware
- Hardware (SocietyOS STB, Umbrel-based Nodes, Tangem cards, cases) included with annual tiers ships on or after December 18, 2026, as these units are custom-configured for members.
- Hardware must be ordered at checkout. Shipping is calculated at checkout; title and risk pass on delivery.
- Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty, if any. Warranty claims are facilitated through SocietyOS support.
5. Self-Hosted Use & Approved Hardware
SocietyOS features may function with select customer-owned hardware. However, SocietyOS equipment is a vital part of the full experience, and SocietyOS is not liable for any service, feature, or content that does not function when hosted on hardware that is not SocietyOS-approved.
6. Third-Party Services
Society TV is powered by FreeCast and subject to FreeCast's own terms and account requirements. Members activate FreeCast accounts directly. SocietyOS does not control third-party catalogs, availability, or pricing and is not responsible for third-party service interruptions.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not resell, share, or redistribute membership credentials, streaming access, or software outside your household.
- Do not use SocietyOS services for unlawful content or activity.
- Accounts found in breach may be suspended or terminated without refund of the current term.
8. Ambassador Program
- Ambassador memberships (Onyx $1,499/yr; Gold $2,499/yr) include the advertising, marketing, referral, and Node benefits described on the Ambassador page at the time of purchase.
- Referral rewards are earned only on new, paid Socialite accounts attributed to the Ambassador's referral code, remain contingent on the referred customer's active subscription, and are paid via Tangem Pay or wire transfer on the published payout schedule.
- Rewards rates, caps, territories, and ad allocations are set by SocietyOS and may be adjusted with reasonable notice. Rewards are not wages, salary, or employment compensation; Ambassadors are independent participants.
- Ambassadors are responsible for their own tax obligations on reward income.
9. Sovereign AI ("Maestro")
Maestro is an AI assistant. AI output may be inaccurate and is provided for assistance, not professional advice. Members remain responsible for decisions made using AI assistance.
10. Data & Privacy
Account data is stored on SocietyOS infrastructure and used to operate your membership. We do not sell your personal data. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; streaming activation involves FreeCast. See the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers & Liability
Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocietyOS and The Nyx & Raven Ranch, LLC disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to SocietyOS in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Changes
We may update features, content, pricing, and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming.
